Terms and Conditions

1. Services

I provide book editing services, including developmental editing, manuscript critiquing, and beta reading, as agreed upon with the client before the project begins.

2. Project Agreement

All projects will be confirmed via email or written agreement, including scope, timeline, and pricing.

3. Payment

• A 20% non-refundable deposit is due upon contract signing.

• 30% due before the booking date.

• 50% due before the final files are delivered.

• Payments are non-refundable once work has started.

4. Revisions

• Limited revisions may be included, as agreed in advance.

• Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

5. Client Responsibilities

• The client must provide complete and accurate manuscript files.

• The client is responsible for final decisions regarding their content.
  

6. Copyright & Ownership

• The client retains full ownership of their manuscript.

• I retain the right to use anonymised samples for portfolio purposes unless agreed otherwise.

7. Confidentiality

All client materials will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties.

8. Deadlines

Delivery timelines will be agreed upon in advance. Delays caused by the client may affect final delivery dates.

9. Limitation of Liability

I strive to provide high-quality editing, but I do not guarantee error-free results. I am not liable for any losses resulting from the use of my services.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the project with written notice. Payment is required for work completed up to that point.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
